The Four-legged Race
April 29, 2017
Join us for the 3rd annual 4 Legged Race!
This fundraiser for Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue promotes locally owned businesses by giving your team a chance to sample what they offer.
Find a partner or form a family team (kids must be 9+), then join other teams as they race around ABQ/Rio Rancho doing fun tasks, including physical, mental, creative and even food challenges. Choose a route that suits your team's physical ability, and there's a route for almost everyone to enjoy! You don't have to run or be athletic to do the race. Help the dogs and have a super fun day, and maybe win prizes too!
Registration begins March 1 for new teams. If you raced last year, register before March 1 for a discount. Online registration at the link below or contact us at email@example.com or by message on Facebook.
MDA Lockout 2017
Fundraiser for MDA-Lockout
April 10-27, 2017
One of our staff members has been locked up and for a good cause!
Alicia has volunteered to be locked-up to raise money for MDA New Mexico Kids!
She needs to raise a minimum of $65.00 to be released on bail. All money raised is donated to MDA Summer camps. Camps that provides thousands of kids with muscular dystrophy and related life-threatening diseases “the best week of the year,” including nearly 40 kids in New Mexico and El Paso.
MDA Summer Camps — offered at no charge to families thanks to our supporters to fund the camps — give kids with limited muscle strength and mobility a life-changing experience in an environment without barriers. It’s a week where they’re free to enjoy adventures like kayaking, swimming and fishing, and develop lifelong friendships and build self-confidence and independence that are critical to living longer and growing stronger.
